Even though I’ve shared a couple of autumnal poems with you the other day, I have missed sharing quotes (as I used to all the time) and things of this nature with you all.
Recently, I wrote some wonderfully helpful aspirations for myself. They were especially helpful in calming me down, the day I wrote them. I’ve had some struggles as of late, as we all do. Perhaps reading my affirmations will in some way be helpful to you. Of course, there are 7 of them…in no particular order.
Also, I found another poem that I just adore! While I may not agree with everything Cristina writes, most of it feels just perfect to me!
I will do the best that I can.
I will make my health a priority.
I will listen to my body.
I will be OK.
I will be true to myself.
I will be present in the moment as much as I can.
I will be kind and give to myself when I am tired, stressed, or not feeling well.
If today was the last day of my life
I would leave all worries aside,
I would be thankful to be alive,
I would be all right,
I would just smile.
If today was the last day of my life
I would stop to smell the roses,
I would appreciate all that surrounds me,
I would be friendly, and I would laugh,
I would take the time to be closer.
If today was the last day of my life
I would pass on peace,
I would be generous,
I would pass on love,
I would deeply breathe.
If today was the last day of my life
I would accept peacefully all that comes,
including my death,
for death
is just a new beginning.

Joy & Love,

Goddess, thanks for sharing Your Mantras with use and the poem reminding us to get the most out of every day. As we spoke today about being in the moment to observe and appreciate something beautiful every day, no matter how small, it keeps a positive aspect on our demeanor.
Good luck meeting the challenges You spoke of and know the positivity and beauty You provide in my, and i’m sure, many other’s lives every day.
Thanks for thanking Me, kneel! 🙂 It felt really great to share them! I hope that there is something in them and/or Cristina’s poem that will positively resonate for some. I am SO glad that it did with you!! And thank you SO much for your beautiful words on what you feel that I provide you and others!! 🙂
Well said!!!! I’ve started to do this!!! Health is top top top priority!!! If your not healthy you can’t do anything!!!! There’s way to much negativity especially with me. I’ve fallen out of shape/gained weight/got fat because of all the negativity/stress!!! That stops!!! With family/friends getting me fat with late night eating/lack of sleep it’s time to put myself first!!! I’m going to start my bodybuilding diet that got me lean/ripped andbin shape as I’ve fallen off the wagon and need to get back on in making this part of my life again. Saying no will become a regular way of life and if they don’t like it tough s—t. If I can’t help myself how can I help others?
Wow Paulina! Good for you! And you’re so right…we need to give to ourselves (help) first and then we can be there for others. We will have nothing to give to others, otherwise. I am very proud of you for deciding to take charge of your body and mind and make your health and well being your #1 top priority!!! 🙂
