“Close your eyes and imagine the best version of you possible. That’s who you really are, let go of any part of you that doesn’t believe it.” C. Assaad
I love this quote!! Of course I do, lol, that is why I am sharing it with you now. And what makes it even better is that it was sent to me from a wonderfully thoughtful and special friend of mine! 🙂
I don’t think that this is necessarily easy for a lot of us to do. To relinquish self -doubt, guilt, judgement…to let go of anything that makes us feel less than instead of amazing, brilliant, perfect and loveable just as we are.
But, perhaps the “best version of you” is really not much or no different than who you really are?!?
And this is not to say that there are not things that you wish to change about your self or ways in which you wish to better yourself. Improvement is (in my opinion) always a good thing…being a little bit kinder, a little bit more patient, a little bit more tolerant, a little bit more forgiving, a little bit more loving.
What about you??
What does the best version of YOU look like??
Is there a part of you that doesn’t believe??
If so, can you let go of it??
For me I should’ve been born a girl as they really do have more fun! The dresses/makeup/lipsticks/bras/panties/slips/perfumes/lotions/leggings/yoga pants/boots/heels. So much much fun and better then being boring lame guy like I’ve become. Most people my age are married have families. I don’t. And I hate hate hate how people use me being single against me. As result Im going to be reclusive and do what I want!
What a great post and a great quote Ms Mandy. I’ve noticed that a lot of people have doubts about any fetish exploration … and actually any sexual adventure that is out of the “perceived normal” sort of sex box. BLEH, I say. You only live once (that we know of right now) so ENJOY and EXPLORE … self doubt is not sexy! Thanks 🙂
Well petey, we do often have lots of fun, for sure! But, I think boys can have just as much fun. But I can tell that you are frustrated and unhappy with some things in your life. What do you think it would feel like if you just put your foot down and said, I am not going to do that?!?!
Thanks for stopping by Ms. Olivia and sharing your two cents (if not more, lol), I really appreciate it! BLEH is a good way to put it…it only makes sense to enjoy and explore, life is too short!!
I did do just that. I had chance to go to Greece with my parents but I turned it down and did I ever hear from them and my cousins from Greece. With mixed doubles actions coming up end of August I have to get myself & team ready with practices. Going to Greece I won’t be able to do this. That’s why I said no thanks. They are going for 7 weeks which is to long for me. Also they treat me like I’m 5 & 75 I hate hate hate that!!! That’s why I lost my temper playing match last week and I broke my racquet which can’t happen nor will it as both girls I play with ripped me a new one about that. I won’t be like that again. I’ll tell them it’s off court family issues is reason why I lost it on court.
When you can’t speak the Greek it makes it impossible to have fun. Greece is beautiful country but what am I going to do there as my parents are. 69 & 80 only one car they are in village 20 miles from nearest town. I’d rather stay here play tennis and hang out with my friends then do that. You would would do the same if you were in my situation.
Well good for you, petey. Clearly you did do just what I asked about. I absolutely understand why you are choosing not to go. And as you are an adult it really is your decision! 🙂
Im also going to start wearing women’s pants/ankle boots. They are so sexy and much better then wearing boring guy pants. I think they would fit better if I wore panties/boy shorts instead of guy underwear. How can I hide bra if I start wearing that?
