So I’ve been thinking a lot about this and I really do believe that it’s true. Not only has there been monumental change in most of our lives, but I feel absolutely certain that we are ALL in some way experiencing much sadness and loss with this global pandemic.

And I think it’s important to remember that some of these changes in our lives may be difficult, or stressful, or anxiety producing, or frustrating, or just plain sad. We can’t interact with others as we did just a few months ago…not with our friends, our families, or even perhaps our colleagues and workplaces. Did we ever think that a handshake or a hug would be practically forbidden?

Or that you wouldn’t be able to get a haircut, go out to eat, or walk in your favorite park? Our very way of life…our basic freedoms…our need for human contact, human touch…has been severely limited. And likely it’s not any one thing that we’re missing or needing so terribly badly, but it’s the loss of many, the loss of so much!

So here is what I want to say to you…..Be Kind to Yourself!

Your body and mind might not be functioning quite as well as they normally do. It’s very possible that your equilibrium has been thrown off with all of these changes. So give yourself a break! Give yourself extra time and space to process things and get things done. Give yourself permission to stop and take a break, to take a walk, to take a nap, to listen to some music, or to not complete the task right now at all. It will be there tomorrow. 🙂

Grief is in two parts. The first loss. The second is the remaking of life.” Anne Roiphe

“Be kind and gentle with yourself. You are a beautiful child of light. Precious as the stars in the sky. Keep peace in your heart during the chaos of life.”  Chantelle Renee

And lastly, please remember to breathe! It’s the one thing that we CAN control!

Joy & Love,

Goddess Mandy 🙂 XO
