I found this Thanksgiving poem and I just love it! What a beautiful garden! 🙂
And yes, I am asking YOU, what are YOU grateful for???
There are SO many many things that I am grateful for in my life…and I don’t want to judge them or their importance or their value…I don’t want to rank them in any way shape or form. I just want to write them down…read them out loud…share them with the universe. 🙂
I will share first…here goes:
I am grateful to be living in a country that allows freedom of speech.
I am grateful to be doing what I love everyday and having the freedom to decide how and when I do it.
I am grateful to be able to support myself doing what I love everyday.
I am grateful to be respected and appreciated by those closest to me.
I am grateful to have friends and family who love and care about me.
I am grateful to have a partner who loves me, wants me, needs me, respects me, and takes care of me.
I am grateful to have enough water, food, and clothing as well as a warm place to lay my head each night.
I am grateful to have clients who like, respect, appreciate and care about me.
I am grateful to work with amazing women who want to help me, support me, and empower me to be the best that I can be.
I am grateful for all of my education and how it helps me each and every day.
I am grateful that getting out of bed is feeling better and better these days.
I am grateful that I live in an area with amazing medical practitioners.
I am grateful for all of the people in my life that have helped me to learn, to understand, to listen, to be patient, to be open-minded and to give freely.
I am grateful that I can see, hear, smell, taste, and touch all of the beauty that surrounds me.
I am grateful to be genuinely happy.
Sometimes it is very hard to “give thanks” in all circumstances. This is why it is such an important question to ask because its hard to live out gratitude for many who face small trials and devastating tragedy. Creating a daily mantra is a start. I’ve always believed that the trouble you endure always has a purpose.
I’m greatful for my health as well having great friends/family. Blogs/feminization aside health is#1 if I wasn’t I wouldn’t be able to do this/dress up. I’m greatful as well for you and the hot mistresses!! I plan on calling more as my cycle of pills that gets me hard starts December, then I’ll call.
I agree, Ms. Cindy, it can be difficult to give thanks and feel grateful when we are faced with difficulty and hardship. And perhaps these are the times that we most need to try and take a step back and look at what we do indeed have…what elements in our lives are positive. What are the things, places, and people in our lives that we are grateful for? And a daily mantra IS a great place to start. And like you, I also believe that things happen for a reason…sometimes that reason takes time to be illuminated, I have found.
I am grateful that you are going to decide for me on anything and everything i can do and will do per your command goddess mandy. Also grateful for my new name)). Love penelope. I am so much happier now that u control my life
I know that I am definitely grateful to be a part of the amazing community that is the Enchantrix Empire. Sometimes I still shake my head in disbelief from the day I was added to the Mistress roster to the posting of this comment. I’ve had so many amazing memories and I know there are more still to come. Thanks for this blog post, Mandy. Reflection can be so nourishing.
Ms. Mandy, thank you for sharing this beautiful poem and gratitude list. It is a breath of fresh air in this week of uncertainty and fear. Gratitude can solve so many problems, from the largest to the smallest and I especially love the remembrance of freedom of speech, we are allowed not only to say and write how we feel, but also allowed to have this job that might not be possible in other parts of the world. Sending you lots of peace and happiness!
I couldn’t agree more with you, Petey!! Having our health so that we can enjoy our life doing whatever it is that makes us happy is just priceless!!! I am also glad that you feel grateful for your family and friends AND us hot mistresses! 🙂
Well, penelope, I am SO glad that you are grateful for me and your new name!! I loved giving it to you! I am also happy to hear that you are feeling better knowing that I am deciding things for you and taking control of things in your life. I know a lot has changed in your world in the past couple of months and clearly this is the type of “support” that you need right now. 🙂
I love that you too are grateful for ALL that we have here in the Enchantrix Empire, it is pretty fabulous!! 🙂 So many wonderful memories for me too. And yes, reflection is a big for me…so glad that you appreciated my post and found it to be nourishing!
Ohhhh Ms. Audrey, you are welcome. 🙂 I am glad that my post felt like a breath of fresh air to you! And yes, it has been a very tough week for many, I think! And I couldn’t agree more…looking at our lives and all that we do have…being thankful and grateful does help so much!!! And you are absolutely right, so many things we have in this country that just couldn’t happen elsewhere. Peace and happiness back to you and I hope that your Thanksgiving is happy and delicious! 🙂
Ms. Mandy, I love this! What a great poem. It is so perfect this time of year. This is one of my favorite holidays. Sometimes it’s good to just take a moment and really think about all the good things we have. You certainly summed it all up, and it looks like you have a long list of happiness! xxoo
Hi Ms. Meredith…thanks for stopping by! I am glad that you like the poem I chose. 🙂 It really is a great holiday. My boyfriend and I were just talking about how much we love it and how nice it is in some ways that it’s not religious. I do have a long list of happiness…you are so right!!
I just have time for a brief moment to say that YOU, Mandy, are among the things I am so grateful for. You know that but I always am ready to say it again. And I am very happy to see that your physically challenges seem to be diminishing, that’s great! I hope you had a wonderful holiday, and will talk, via email or in person, to you soon!
Ohhhh Princess, thank you so much! I feel that I do know you are grateful to have Me in your life. But, it’s never ever bad to “hear” it again. And just so you know, I too, feel grateful for you! And yes, things do seem to be steadily improving so Thank You for saying that!!!! 🙂
