Tis the season for giving, for family and for friends.ย The season for mistletoe, egg nog, and the hope of making amends.ย It’s also a time for taking stock and kicking back…relax! What better way to do this than a Christmas movie, alas! ๐
I have a fun little Christmas movie poll for you all!ย I want you to weigh in on your top 3 favorite Christmas movies.
Cards on the table…I am a little celuloid deficient.ย There are so many films old, recent, and yet to be classics that I have missed.ย I have my own favorites, but even more on my list yet to be watched.
While this poll is fun and lighthearted…it might also help me pick my next holiday favorite.ย I’ve seen a wide range of holiday films from Home Alone to Die Hard.ย But I am definitely missing some classics like White Christmas and A Christmas Story.
So, let’s pop a big bowl of popcorn and fill a cup of holiday cheer…help your Goddess find her next holiday cinematic delight!
Here’s a list to start you off, but it’s in no way complete.ย Share your top 3 picks! I’ll share back in the New Year! And if my new holiday cinematic delight cums from you…well, you never know what I might do! ๐
How The Grinch Stole Christmas

Just a few that I enjoy!
You’re right about one thing, Ms Mandy. This list is far from complete. What’s cool about it though is that it’s a great reminder of just how many holiday-themed movies there ARE! I have to add National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation to the mix for sure. Hilarity at its finest. I’ll throw in a vote for A Christmas Story and White Christmas too with Home Alone fitting into the slot after that. Hehe, fitting into the slot.
A Christmas Story, Christmas Vacation, and Christmas with the Kranks
Yay!!! Thanks for stopping by and sharing your top 3 faves, Wes! I hope that you had a wonderful Christmas! ๐
Hey Ms. Alexis! Thanks for stopping by and sharing your top faves with us all! ๐ Christmas Vacation is pretty damn hilarious, you’re right lol! That naughty mind of yours never stops, does it Ms. Alexis?!? ๐
Hey Kim! Thanks for stopping by. I think this might be a first and I love it…cum back again! ๐ Thanks for sharing your top 3 faves. I don’t think I’ve seen Christmas with the Kranks…but I do recall the previews looking damn funny!! ๐
Itโs a Wonderful Life
Love Actually
Trading Places
Hey Russ! Thanks for chiming in here. I have seen each of these and enjoyed them all a great deal! Hope that you had a very Merry Christmas and happy and healthy New Year, too!!! I’ll be looking forward to ALL of the sexy fun we’ll have together in 2018! ๐
I am late, but this is a great poll — I love Christmas movies, and my favorites are on your list. Top three:
Itโs A Wonderful Life
Miracle On 34th Street
A Charlie Brown Christmas
‘A Christmas Story’ would be next on my list. And ‘A Muppet Chirstmas Carol’ has become a family favorite — it really is good. And if you like your Dickens, the best is the 1951 version of A Christmas Carol with Alastair Sim. There is also the 1971 animated version that is great: https://youtu.be/iN6IMZFwY50
One other thing just popped into mind — the original pilot movie for The Waltons, called “The Homecoming.” It is actually really good, not corny, but never on tv anymore.
A late Merry Christmas, Mandy, and a wonderful New Years.
Hi Princess! Noooo you’re not late at all! SO glad that you love this poll and that you chimed in with so many of your faves!!! I don’t believe that I have seen The Homecoming and I’m not sure if I have seen A Muppet Christmas Carol either. But I have a sneaking suspicion that I would enjoy both of them. ๐ And Happy New Year to you, Princess!!!!
