I know that some of you have truly enjoyed when I’ve shared quotes with you…quotes that have been so very meaningful to me, and happily some that have touched you as well. 🙂
So, here are 7 more that have inspired me and caused me to think. Â They are all about authenticity, what it looks like, what it feels like, the challenges, and the benefits of being your authentic self.
“Everything will line up perfectly when knowing and living the truth becomes more important than looking good.” Â Â Alan Cohen
“The authentic self is soul made visible.” Â Sarah Ban Breathnach
“We need to find the courage to say NO to the things and people that are not serving us if we want to rediscover ourselves and live our lives with authenticity.” Â Barbara de Angelis
“Only the truth of who you are, if realized, will set you free.” Â Eckhart Tolle
“If you tell the truth you don’t have to remember anything.” Â Mark Twain
“Just be what you are and speak from your guts and heart – it’s all a man has.” Â Hubert Humphrey
“Honesty and transparency make you vulnerable. Be honest and transparent anyway.” Â Mother Theresa
Are you living YOUR authentic self?!?  I try very hard to…day by day.  And I agree wholeheartedly with Mother Theresa! In my experience… being honest, transparent, and yes, even vulnerable are truly worth it!!!! 🙂
I am sure many of your readers and callers will find this post very inspirational, Ms Mandy. I think it’s perfect given the circumstances that many of the same face day by day. In a world where the truth can be a dangerous thing, it can be easier to hide in the shadows. Thankfully, we can be a friendly face where so many feel there are none to be had.
I agree with the last saying. I really am a cream puff????????I bought 6 pair of women’s slacks/3 womens tops and d cup breast forms. No real guy would ever do that. Trying on the slacks/tops/breast forms fit me perfectly. My breasts filled out my bra and I looked better in women’s clothes the I did in guy clothes. I have muffin top which I’m not happy at all with????????Ms Violet said I need corset training. If I wear corset that will give me girlish hour glass figure won’t it? If I could only find women into women’s clothes/fashion then maybe this could lead them into having them make me try on women’s clothes.
Also my masseuse had conversation. She asked if I ever kissed a girl and I told her I never have nor had girl kiss me or ever having a girlfriend. The reason why is I like to wear women’s clothes/bra/panties. I haven’t told her this as I’m afraid what her reaction will be. ????????????????????????????What should I do? Is this normal? I’m a train wreck mistress
OMG , I know Alan Cohen! Is this the same one who is on the President’s anti-drug stuff? The one who was one of Timothy Leary’s lsd group at Harvard? He’s into Meher Baba? He is friends with Ram Das?
Is that the same one? Are you friends with him too?
I got so excited I forgot, Hello how are you?
Wow, Thank you, Jennifer
Do you know Alan Cohen? He is so nice, unassuming, and approachable that I think it is entirely probable that you might know him. This is the one that was a part of the Timothy Leary Harvard lsd group, and is a friend of Ram Das, – that is the one I am talking about.
It really could, Petey. And that would be just so puuuuurfect for you!!! 🙂
Hi petey! Wow!!!! You just completely took me by surprise with this information! Do you truly like “girls” in a sexual way?!? I am wondering…:)
I do like girls in sexual way. I’m just afraid to come out of the closet. Crossdressing is such a thrill that it’s only way I can get hard or off. Everytime I see women wearing sexy dresses/leggings/capris/yoga pants/boots it turns me on. I’ve bought all those clothes. I’m not gay nor queer. I just like women’s clothes/fashion. I only dress at home as I don’t think I’d risk wearing dress in public. I’ve worn panties/bra under my guy clothes once to salon I used to go to for makeover but women didn’t notice nor bat and eyelash. I was bummed about that and the same with shopping. To salesgirls it was no big deal and the thrill was gone. I was hoping I’d run into women I know or find new women who would take control but it never happened and that’s why I don’t do that anymore. But yes I do like girls in sexual way but to afraid to ask as I’m to friendly to be boyfriend. Also don’t like cockblockers as I’ve had that happen way to many times and quit going to bars/clubs as I’m to old for that.
Hi Jennifer! Thanks for reading and reaching out to me about Alan Cohen. I do not know him personally but he does indeed sound like a pretty amazing man. The quote that I read from him really moved me. In fact, it was one of my favorite’s in this post. I am not certain it is the same Alan Cohen for sure, but I can only think that likely he is. 🙂
Thanks for saying this, Ms. Alexis! 🙂 I certainly hope that you are right. I always like to inspire when and where I can! 🙂 And you’re right, the truth CAN sometimes be a dangerous thing. But, I also feel in sharing our truth we inspire others to do so as well and therefore come that much closer to truly living an authentic life.
I understand now commpletely, petey. Thank you for explaining it all to me. What about the “tennis” women??
I never bought this up to them, but I think with my doubles partner we really connected this past weekend. She was interested in my next singles match, asked for my home address. Which I told her. The only concern is age difference. She 15 years younger then me.what are your thoughts?
I think if you like her, Petey, and she likes you why not hang out together? If it doesn’t feel good or right to you, you will know it. 🙂
I’m going to Ms Mandy
That’s good, Petey. I am happy to hear that! 🙂
